_At Art History Resources you can find the most important links in a chronological order from Prehistorical Art to Contemporary Art, at World Wide Arts Resources you can use a search engine.
_The most important collections of paintings (in my view) are the WebMuseum, Jim's Fine Art Collection and CJFA- Carol Jackson's Fine Art at the moment.
_You can also look at the art resources for further art servers or at museums on this page.
_If you can not find, what you are looking for, use another search engine like AltaVista, Lycos, Infoseek, Aladin(de) or Yahoo.
_For contemporary art or artists go to art resources-general.

_Die wichtigsten Bildersammlungen sind im Augenblick (meiner Meinung nach) das WebMuseum, Jim's Fine Art Collection und CJFA- Carol Jackson's Fine Art.
_Unter art resources sind noch weitere Kunst Server zu finden, eventuell werden Sie auch bei museums fuendig.
_Ansonsten stehen noch die allgemeinen Suchmaschinen zur Verfuegung, wie AltaVista, Lycos (de), Infoseek, Aladin(de), Yahoo (de).
